My mom just left from Boston back to AZ and tomorrow I head back to work full time. As I said in my last post, I’ve been feeling a lot better, thank God! In the same sense, my appetite is back in full swing. Oy vey. Back to hungry ol’ Tina.
Not to mention, I’ve gained a little over 10lbs since having the band removed! 10, yes 10!! I mean, my body to go through a great deal of distress, confusion and survival mode tactics for a 5 weeks or so, so I suppose it’s understandable-ish. BUT, that doesn’t excuse the fact that I need to continue going down, not up.
That being said, I’ve been thinking about which new (aka old) program I’m going to re-try to begin losing weight the old school way… yet again. I was thinking Weight Watchers, Atkins or Food Lovers Fat Loss. And the reasons I’ve decided to retry the Food Lovers Fat Loss system yet again are because many of the theories stuck with me and for lack of better words, made sense. The eating every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism going, the science and rationale around the glycemic index… it all made sense. That and the fact that ~$120 was spent on that damn program and I still have all the pieces and parts… so what the hay, why not?
Now in with this program, it’s 21 days… and I might extend certain days, because I have a bachelorette party, my dad coming in and my mom coming in all in between. I’m not using any of those as excuses to go off the program, but I may need to turn Day 11 into a 2 day event, etc. That being said, here we go.
I’m going to ‘attempt’ to vlog about each day’s learnings to keep it fresh and keep me accountable, so we’ll see how this goes. I knowww I can hear all the groanss… not anotherrr vlog, Augustinaaaahh. But whatevz, I dislike typing (sometimes) and am getting carpal tunnel, like everyone else! hahaa
In short, I see myself slowly creepin back into my old ways and I will have none of it!
I’m still in shock from all this band nonsense… but the show must go on, right?
