Allergies? And back to Zumba

Per my last post, I made reference to my incessant coughing.  Well as luck would have it, the cough has subsided a bit (not altogether unfortunately), but now I have a runny nose and crazy sneak-up-on-ya sneezing.  :(  I’ve never had allergies before, but I know they’re something you can get at any point… damn.  My dad and his side of the family suffer w/ allergies so it wouldn’t be completely out of the blue if this were the case.  I’m also wondering if it doesn’t have anything to do with the apartment I’m living in.  My mom’s BFF’s daughter lived in this same apt previously, but she had to move because her son kept getting sick.  Doc said the ‘fibers in the carpet’ in the apt were getting her son sick. Me and my mom (biggest hypochondriac evaaa) are thinking it’s that, there’s mold in the apt, lead in the paint cuz this place is older for sure or that it’s actually allergies.

If this nonsense continues, I’m gonna try staying at my parents house for a few days to see if it clears up… but I suppose only time will tell.  Right now I’m taking Loratadine aka Claritin D for my allergies.  Anyone else use anything more potent or better for allergies?

workoutwithraytheonladiesBut in spite of all of this, I went to the gym on Friday with my cousins and did 30 min circuit training and 20 mins on the elliptical. And finally today I got off my ass and went to the gym with some of the friends I used to work at Raytheon.  My first workout partner who killllled it with me, Yvonne (in the black shirt), is considering joining my gym and ahhhh!! We made such a dynamic duo and we freaking gave it all we got at zumba today! I’ve been in this funk that I’ve been trying to get out of and to get our ish together as workout buddies would be the best thing that ever happened to the two of us! Anywho, let’s pray this works out.  And even it if doesn’t, it felt good to be back to zumba… again… again. hahaa

I ate well today… and yeah.  So I must celebrate my triumphs.  K, that’s all for now.

xoxo
