So yesterday I went for my yearly physical and all seemed to go well. I had definitely gained from my last weigh-in, signif. Last year in February… I was 258! AHHH!! That number startled me and the doc. But yet, she still didn’t think my gall bladder removal had anything to do with the weight gain. hmmm… :-/
The next best thing I could do afterwards was ask her for my referral to see a nutritionist… finallllly! Instead, she suggested I attend a Bariatric Conference Seminar that’s hosted every 2nd Thursday of the month. So on April 12th from 6-8p, my lard ass shall be there! I’m excited because I believe I attend the seminar and then they hook me up with a nutritionist or something of that nature. They talk about weightloss techniques (natural, gastric bypass, lapband, etc.) That being said, I’ve considered the lapband manyyy a time… but have been reluctant because there are no such things as ‘quick’ fixes. All I know is that I’m going open-minded and we’ll see what transpires.
On another note, my good friend from back home, Yvonne, sent me these little gems. And I love it. She’s also doing Weight Watchers and has lost some lbz so far! I’m anxious to hear of her successes. Thanks, Yvonne, love you girl!
