My friend/sorority sister, Kate B, and myself have been talking about doing our own little weight loss competition. This event sparked from a previous weight loss competition I had with my other friend/sorority sister Erin (I have yet to college my prize, ahemmm!). So we both weighed in today. The end date and final prize is TBD, but it’s another competition that I hope will push both of us. I must say, I was not impressed with my weight. In fact, it gave me even more motivation to kick it into high gear.
So Kate, let’s do disss! Also, I’ve been wanting to do Weight Watchers, but it’s an extra $13 each week in addition to my $50/month at the damn gym. Things be getting costly up in here. But I know more than anyone else that $$$ is my biggest motivator. It really gets me going, esp. when I see that it’s going down the drain (in this case, it wouldn’t be… since I’d be religiously good with my habits… lol, but maybe). I think I’m weary because I’m so used to the old points system that this new “points plus” shindig would get me confused. I know one of my friends from work is doing it and she’s been doing well, so I guess it’s something to definitely consider. The way I see it is, whatever I’m doing right now isn’t really working out, so I must find a better way! Thing I’ve always loved about WW is that you really can eat anything you want so long as it’s within your point allowance for the day. I think I’m going to research the nearest location to my apt… I might join a drop in sesh tomorrow before or after zumba… hmmm
