A pre-made salad discovery & Another home cooked meal

I ate this salad for lunch.  I admit it, I’m a frequenter of Walmart aka Wally World and happened to discover these wonderful pre-made salads.  It was 190 calories and very well portioned… the 190 cals includes the meat toppings/cheese and dressing.  LEgit.

So I actually did cook all the 3 meals I had intended, I just got super busy at the end of the week and then during the weekend.  :-/  I ended up making the chicken burger.

I picked up a box of frozen Chicken Chile Lime Burger patties from TJ’s.  I cooked it in a pan, added some lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mustard.  I added two flatbreads on both ends and served myself up 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. 

Caloric breakdown:

Patty – 150

2% milk sliced cheese: 50

1 bagel flat: 100

1/2 c of cottage cheese: 120

Veggies: probably 20-30, but I don’t count ’em! :-p

So there you have it, a fairly low carb meal for less than 450 cals.  BAM!
